The legal industry has been rapidly changing and the recent COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated this change even more. Due to this pandemic, lawyers have moved forward in terms of the acceptance and use of technology, especially when it comes to working remotely.

The Legal Industry Has Adapted

A recent Loeb leadership study has shown that lawyers and their staff have been enjoying working from home – 67% want to continue beyond the pandemic even after law offices reopen for business.

The online survey of 25 firms was conducted in mid-May, three months into the pandemic, and found that nearly 7 in 10 people working at law firms want to continue remote work, at least a few days a week, even after its deemed safe to return to the office.
